last night 8/22

arrived land in nc, thurs. am
backed home over ledge, had to call
tow truck. vess, ray vess.
it's said there would be electric, no water.
there is neither, thought I would die,
first day was challenging to say the least.
friday is great, got stove working.
coffee, and grill cheese, and yes
still eating the pasta salad. I must
take that off menu. too much p salad.
typing after dark by oil lamp.
good thing nobody took the oil
I was trying to give away, using it.
I can see my breath at night in the camper.
The air is nice and I have been organizing.
I'm gonna meet Reed Murphy, to fix a part
which broke when camper went over
20 ft. ledge.
I must already conserve resources as
the repairs in Carthage were $650.
I even bought a frreaking power cord.
$22. and there is no freaking electricity.
The trip is over the $1000. dollar mark.
Only $900. left.
very cold tonight, must be 45/50 deg.
Dog is keeping me warm at night.
there are animals, big freaking turkeys.
I may have to catch one.
I explore the creek, didn't see any fish.
I'll try to find internet.
